The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has confirmed that results for both Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations will be officially released on April 25, 2026. The announcement will be made during a press conference scheduled at the board headquarters in Ramnagar, Nainital. Prior to the theory exams, practical examinations were held from January 16 to February 15, 2026. A gender-wise breakdown revealed that female students outperformed their male counterparts, with pass rates of 86.20 percent and 80.10 percent, respectively. A total of 1,06,358 candidates appeared for the Class 12 examinations last year.
For Class 10, the previous year’s results showcased outstanding achievements by several students across different districts. Top performers included candidates from Bageshwar, Haldwani, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, and Udham Singh Nagar, with several students achieving impressive scores above 98 percent.

In the 2025 examination cycle, a substantial number of students registered for the board exams. The total registration count reached 2,23,403 candidates, comprising 1,13,690 High School students and 1,09,713 Intermediate students. Among the High School registrants, 1,11,420 were institutional candidates while 2,268 appeared as private candidates. Similarly, for Intermediate examinations, 1,05,298 institutional and 4,401 private candidates were registered. To facilitate the smooth conduct of these examinations, the board established 1,245 examination centers throughout the state.
Top Performers in Class 12 from Previous Year
The Class 12 examinations in the previous year witnessed exceptional performances from several students. The top ranks were secured by candidates from Dehradun, Uttarkashi, and Rishikesh, with the highest scorer achieving 493 marks out of the total.
