Jamia Millia Islamia Opens M.Sc. Biotechnology Admissions for 2026-28
Jamia Millia Islamia has officially announced the admission process for its two-year M.Sc. Biotechnology programme, set to begin for the 2026-28 academic session. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online starting 10 July, with the deadline fixed for 20 July. The application portal will be accessible through the university’s official admission website.
This postgraduate programme is offered in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology. Admission to the course will be determined solely on the basis of the candidate’s GAT-B score, in accordance with the university’s established admission and reservation policies. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: B.Pharma, B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, or any other field related to modern biology. A minimum aggregate score of 50 percent in the qualifying examination is mandatory for consideration. Short-Term Skill Development Courses Also Open
In a parallel development, the university’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is inviting applications for its short-term skill development programmes.
